It's been far too long since my last reflection.
I cannot say that this lapse in writing has been due to an exhausting schedule; it is not due to a shortage of time. Rather, I think that lately my life has been lacking in focus and my reluctance to write may have been a side-effect of this foggy state of mind. I seem to have temporarily forgotten the importance of taking time to reflect. Today, I decided it was time to return to my looking glass.
I must confess that a bit of the reason for my renewed interest in blogging is related to a project-idea for work. I needed to research all of the ins-and-outs of blogspot to prepare for a meeting with my supervisor tomorrow where I will pitch the idea. One of the highlights of blogging relevant to my project-idea is the interactive nature of the medium. I would like to make The Looking Glass more interactive, so I'm introducing something new: Invitations for Reflection. Think of it like this: similar to taking a look in a mirror, I will pose a few questions that are related to the topic of my post; your answers (aka comments) will provide me with "reflections."
Today's invitation for reflection: What sparked your interest in blogging? What benefits do you receive from your blogging experience? Have you had any negative experiences with blogging?
